I can’t find kohlrabi here very often. This week, while I was grocery shopping I found some!
And I decided to prepare roots salad- this is one of the salads that my mom makes every Friday for Shabbat dinner.
Ingredients
- 1 beet
- 1 large carrot
- 1 kohlrabi
- For the dressing
- 1/4 cup of natural maple
- 1/4 cup of balsamic vinegar
- For decoration
- A half teaspoon of sesame
- 1/4 cup of chopped parsley
Instructions
1
Slice the vegetables into thin strips. I use the mandolin.
2
Mix the dressing ingredients.
3
Mix the roots in a bowl. Pure the dressing and sprinkle with sesame and parsley above it.
